Barry Manilow opens at Paris March 5th 2010.

December 2009 - Wayne Brady Making it up at the
Venetian is closed through the end of 2009 due to Brady's
strained vocal cords.

December 2009 - Prices for Phantom have increased.
Tickets are now $78.50/$111.50 and $145.50/$147.50.

December 2009 - Tony n' Tina's Wedding has closed at
Planet Hollywood and will reopen on Dec. 19th at the V
theater. Tickets are $85/$105.

The Strip's newest attraction is the world's largest helium
balloon, which is called Cloud Nine located across from
Mandalay Bay. Rides are $22.50 for adults and $17.50 for
children.

Garth Brooks will begin performing at Encore in December.
Shows will be on Fridays and Sundays with two shows on
Saturdays. Tickets will be $143.00. Performance dates are
Dec. 11-13, Jan. 1-3 and 22-24, and Feb. 12-14 and 26-
28 (but all shows have been sold out).

May 9th 2009-The Coroner has reviled that Danny Gan's
death was accidental. Clark County Coroner Mike Murphy
said that the autopsy showed that Gans died from toxic
levels of hydromorphone. The drugs common name is
Dilaudid. Gans was using the prescription painkiller for the
treatment of chronic pain to his back. He injured his back
and shoulder when he played baseball in the minors.
Murphy also said that Gans had heart disease caused by
high blood pressure. Murphy also added that Gans health
condition placed him at greater risk for heart irregularities,
and the hydromorpone was a factor in exacerbating those
risks.

Ticket prices for Magic's a Drag at the Harmon have been
reduced from $49.95/$65.95 to $21.95/$38.45.

May 2009-Fab Four has reopened at the V Theater, tickets
are $55-$75.50.

May 2009-Sin City Comedy now open at the Harmon
theater, tickets are $24.95 and $39.95.

May 2009-Sin City Bad Girls opened at the Las Vegas
Hilton, tickets are $45 and 55. Voices has also opened at
the Hilton, tickets are $49.95 and $79.95.

Las Vegas Entertainer of the year, Danny Gans died
suddenly in his Henderson home early Friday morning.
Henderson dispatchers received a 911 call at 3:44 a.m. that
a man was having difficulty breathing. Paramedics arrived at
3:51 a.m. and pronounced Gans dead at his home. Danny
Gans was 52 and leaves his wife Julie and three children,
Amy, Andrew & Emily. Steve Wynn said that the death
was unexpected and devastating. Gans has been preforming
in Vegas for 13 years. He started At the Stratosphere in
1996, then moved to the Rio within two years. In 1999
Wynn signed Gans to a 10-year contact worth $10 million
annually. Gans and Wynn were reunited this year at Encore.
Gans opened at Encore February 2009. Through the years
Gans developed a reputation for being an introvert among
the Vegas celebrities. Many Vegas entertainers had high
praise for his talent, but few knew him. Terry Fator who
now performs his show at the Gans theater at the Mirage
said, "I think he was a person who liked his mystique, but
he was so comfortable on stage. That's what matters. He
gave 100 % into every show, and that's what I'll always
remember about him" . Danny Gans was a great entertainer
and will always be remembered.

Peepshow opens at Planet Hollywood on April 18th 2009.
Tickets are $59-$149 for previews until April 17th. Then
$84.80-$200.85. The show features Mel B and Kelly
Monaco.

The Comedy Stop at the Tropicana is closing after 18
years. The Xtreme magic show is also leaving the Trop in
early April. The Folies Bergere closed on March 28th.

George Wallace tickets have dropped from $59.95-$75 to
$39.95-$75. George Wallace's show is still at the Flamingo.

Monster Circus has opened at the Las Vegas Hilton and
will play for two weekends per month. Tickets are
$42.90-$94.6.

Men of X has opened at Hooters. Tickets are
$39.95-$59.95

Freaks has opened at O'Shea's. Tickets are $59.95

Evolution has opened at the Steve Wyrick Theatre in the
Miracle Mile. Tickets are $70-$150.

Don't miss the Terry Fator show. This new show at the
Mirage is great! Terry Fator is unbelievable, with his
impressions of the Bee Gees, Axl Rose and Louis
Armstrong. He even does Amy Winehouse and all without
opening his mouth! Show hours: Tues-Sat 7:30 p.m. $64.90

SinCity Comedy opens at the Harmon Theater April 1st
2009.

Les Folies Bergere will end it's 50 year run at the Tropicana
on March 28 2009. The Folies opened on December 24th
1959. The closure is part of a strategy by the new owners
of the Trop, Columbia Sussex to bring in fresh
entertainment. Tickets for the Folies is as low as $35.00.

The Real Deal at the Venetian is now charging a flat rate of
$45 for all tickets. Tickets were $38.5-$137.5.

The Legends in Concert at the Imperial Palace will close on
Feb. 21st and open at  Harrah's Feb. 23rd 2009.

Defending the Caveman has moved to Excalibur from the
Golden Nugget.  Tickets are $39.95-$64.95 with matinée
performances at $34.95-$44.95.

American Storm and Polly Esther's have both closed at the
Stratosphere.

Fuego Raw has closed at the Sahara as of January 4th
2009. Fuego Raw will reopen at the Rio in March.

Terry Fator will open at the Mirage in February 2009.
Tickets are $57-$129.

Cher is back at Caesars Palace starting February 21st and
performing through May 24th.

Tickets prices for Bite at the Stratosphere has been
increased from $45.95 to $56.88.

Fab Four Mania has moved from the Miracle Mile Shops to
the Rivera. Tickets are $60 and $71.50.

Comedy After Hours has closed at Fitzgeralds and has
been replaced by Fitz of Comedy. Show times are 9:13 p.
m.. Tickets are $29.95 and $39.95.

Mesmerized! has opened at the V Theater located in the
Miracle Mile Mall. Tickets are $49 and $59.

As of  October 5th Cher has canceled the rest of her
shows due to Illness. The desert climate in Vegas is too
harsh for many singers.  She may not even return to
finish her 3 year contact at Caesars.

The Vinnie Favorito show has moved from O'Shea's to
the Flamingo.

Ronn Lucas closed his show at Excalibur.

Ooh La La closed at Paris August 31st 2009.

Donny and Marie Osmond open at the Flamingo for a six
month engagement starting September 9th 2009. Tickets
are $85 to $250.

Danny Gans is leaving the Mirage and moving his show to
Encore. His final performance will be November  22nd.
Danny will open at Encore in February 2009.

Spamalot has closed at the Wynn. The show ran for 509
performances.

The last few months of the Toni Braxton shows have been
canceled. The wrap promoting the show at the Flamingo
has even been removed.

Time is running out on Elton John's Red Piano engagement
at The Colosseum. The last show is on  Sunday November  
9th 2008. Tickets prices start at $100. Shows sell out fast.
