Free shows and attractions
Las Vegas is known for many things like gambling,
dinning, shows and its night life among other things.
This city also offers many well known and not so well
known free shows and attractions. Here is list of some
of the free shows that I have discovered in Vegas.
Free shows and attractions on the strip, west of the
strip and downtown:
The Conservatory at Bellagio is a display of floral
arraignments designed by 100 Horticulturists. The
Conservatory features a glass ceiling and beautiful
flowers and plant arraignments. The Themes are
changed about every three months.

Fountains at Bellagio can be seen in the lake in front
of The Bellagio. The fountains consists of more than
1000 powerful jets that dance to beautiful music and
colorful lights. The show runs every half hour from 3
to 8 p.m. and every 15 minutes from 8 p.m. to
midnight Monday thru Friday. Every half hour from
noon to 8 p.m. and every 15 minutes from 8 p.m. to
midnight Sat. thru Sun.

Fall of Atlantis Fountain at Caesars Palace located in
The Forum Shops is an animatronic show of the
Greek Gods. Shows are every hour from 10 a.m. to
11 p.m. daily.

Circus show at Circus Circus. Circus Circus has the
largest permanent circus in the world. This free show
has aerialists, jugglers, trapeze artists and clowns.
The show is performed in the big-top at the midway.
The circus performs daily 11 a.m. to midnight, every
half hour.

Wildlife Habitat at The Flamingo has an amazing
collection of wildlife. From pink flamingos from
Argentina to Japanese fish. Open 24 hours daily.

Fremont Street Experience is a $70 million light
canopy that was built in 1995. The canopy has 12
million LED light modules and a 54,000 watt sound
system. It spans the length of 5 football fields and is 90
feet high. The show runs daily from dusk to midnight
on Fremont Street in fabulous downtown Las Vegas.

Lion Habitat at MGM Grand where you get to see
these magnificent animals up close. Open daily from
10 a.m. to 11 p.m. The attraction is closed however
from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. open 24 hours daily.

The Aquarium at The Mirage just finished a two
month transformation. The Aquarium is located
behind the front desk and is 53 feet long, 8 feet high
and 6 feet deep. The acrylic that it is built of is 4
inches thick. This beautiful aquarium holds 20,000
gallons of water and 1000 reef animals including 60
different species from, Australia, Tonga, Fiji, The Red
Sea, The Marshall Islands, The Sea of Cortez and The
Caribbean.

Show in the Sky at The Rio just reopened in May of
2008 with a new more sensual adult show. I was
there for the first show in two months. This new show
has a lot of energy and is a must see. Includes exotic
dancers and the famous floats which allows you to
ride in for only $12.95 per person. Shows play every
hour on the hour from 7 p.m. to midnight, Thursday
thru Sunday.
Show in The Sky at The Rio
Sirens of TI at Treasure Island where pirates are
lured by beautiful female sirens. This show ends with
spectacular fire works. Since this show started in
2003 their have been more than 4300 performances
and 9.6 million who have seen it. Shows are at 7,
8:30, 10 & 11:30 p.m. nightly.

The Volcano at The Mirage has just been remodeled
and started erupting again as of December 8th 2008.
The new volcano is ten times bigger with 120 gas jets
to propel the flames. The remake cost $25 million.
The show runs every hour and last about 5 minutes
longer than before. Click on the picture of the
volcano to see a preview.

The Palazzo's "Living Garden" has a new free
show. The show has three female mimes at the
waterfall in the atrium five time a day stating at
noon every 90 minutes until 6:00 p.m.

The V Theater located in the Miracle
Mile at Planet Hollywood has just
opened a free water show. The water
show has a fountain that shoots 50
feet into the air in tandem to music.
